Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ½ cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of sugar (additional)
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Strawberry sauce (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, ½ cup of sugar, and melted butter. Mix until resembles wet sand and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add the eggs to the cream cheese mixture, beating well after each addition. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  4. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and bake for 55-60 minutes until the edges are set and center is slightly jiggly. Cool in the oven for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
