Description

Pancake Sausage Casserole: A Hearty Breakfast Delight combining fluffy pancakes and savory sausage baked into one delicious dish, perfect for family gatherings or a quick breakfast any day.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray
  • Fresh fruit (for topping)
  • Syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine pancake mix, eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Whisk together until smooth.
  2. In a skillet, cook and crumble the breakfast sausage until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a greased baking dish, pour half of the pancake batter. Layer the cooked sausage over it, then pour the remaining batter on top.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serve with syrup and fresh fruit.
