Ingredients
Scale
- 16 ounces of Small Curd Cottage Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Cottage Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt (if using). Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
- Prepare the Baking Sheet: Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Place a silicone baking mat on a baking sheet.
- Form the Chips: Spoon small dollops of the seasoned cottage cheese mixture onto the silicone baking mat, spacing them about 1 inch apart. Flatten each dollop slightly with the back of a spoon to create thin, even circles.
- Bake to Crispy Perfection: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the chips are firm. Let the chips cool completely on the mat. They will become crispier as they cool.
Notes
- Use low-fat cottage cheese to reduce the overall fat content.
- Experiment with different seasonings such as Italian herbs, ranch seasoning, or chili powder.
- Ensure the cottage cheese is as dry as possible before mixing with spices to promote crispiness.
- For extra crispy chips, flip them halfway through baking.
- Store the cooled chips in an airtight container to maintain their crispness.
