Description

The Ground Turkey and Zucchini Skillet is a vibrant and nutritious dish that combines the lean protein of ground turkey with the fresh crunch of zucchini. Quick to prepare, it’s perfect for busy weeknights and satisfies the whole family with its delightful flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients. Chop the onion and mince the garlic, then slice the zucchinis into rounds.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft, about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Add sliced zucchini and stir well. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until zucchini is tender but still crisp. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
