- 1 (8-10 lb) fully cooked bone-in ham
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- Whole cloves (for studding)
- ½ cup pineapple juice (or apple juice)
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Place ham on a rack in a roasting pan, fat side up. Score the fat if desired.
- Insert whole cloves into the ham for extra flavor (optional).
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, pineapple juice, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Brush half the glaze over the ham, cover loosely with foil, and bake for 1.5 hours.
- Remove foil, brush with remaining glaze, and bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes until caramelized.
- Let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
